Oscar's Bio/Resume

Oscar is a realist oil painter with an Impressionistic flare.  His art education started in High
School with strong  academic training at the School of Industrial Arts.  As an adult he
studied drawing and painting in the 'old master' tradition under Cesare Borgia and Lou
DeLuca at The Reilly League of Artists, Inc.
RECOGNITIONS:

Published sketch in 'Voices from the Street' Poetry and Art Journal
Portrait of Mr. Jesse Jackson in collection of Rainbow Coalition, Washington, D.C.
Featured on Cable TV Channel 12 - Landscape painting titled: 'The Old Cantena Pond'

Received high acclaim by the WHITNEY MUSEUM of American Art at Champion. As quoted in a letter from the
Manager: "
your figure drawings are especially well handled, the drawings and oils have a strong sense of
personality, and are sensitively colored and balanced."
